fixed. all 4x5=20 screws. within 5mins. tighten and ready to be used. i show you why. pardon my crude scribbling though.
guess what i've bought. lolz.the stuff with length d2. yesh. i've been using the stuff with length d1. that's why.
now. given,

naturally, holding force F constant, the torque T generated by both screwdriver1 and screwdriver2, respectively, is therefore,
T1 = F1d1 ... 1
T2 = F2d2 ... 2
since F1 = F2 (experimentally adjusted), and solving the simultaneous equation 1 and 2, we have,
T1/d1 = T2/d2 ... 3
since d1 is approximately 3/4 of d2 (as deduced from the diagram), that makes:

eliminating d2,
T2 = 4/3 * T1
that's 33% more torque generated.

a smarter choice would be asking ikea to fix the freaking table themselves, which would cost me 6% of the table's price. that is, 6% of SGD39.00 = SGD2.34
that SGD2.34 will save me at least 2hrs. and another SGD1.50. so that makes a difference of SGD0.42 per hour. or SGD0.007 per minute of savings compared to my current situation.
