how long has it been, that i am able to just slow down for a while, just to, ya know, enjoy the scenery, just for that little while.

it's a vaio i'm using now. design lab's vaio. not the usual lappie, so typing's a little bit weird. lazy to bring that back. hehehe.

was going to sleep like an hour ago, but was browsing through a comic. the comic, in fact. great teacher onizuka. old comic, but still nice. gets to your soul ya know.

tonight, is somewhat special. i'm not living with my music, since the vaio does not contain my, boasting abit, 32.3GB of mp3s.

First time met him, he was my primary school friend. We used to joke around with everything. Anything, in fact. Competition mate to some maths olympiad. That's all I can recall. Heh. Eh. No. His mom even went to school to ask for a change of grade for his music. Got a "C" when that guy's has a Grade 8 in piano. Oh, my mom did too. Lolz. Such coincidence.

After graduating from pri, we went for different sec schools; me Kuching High and him St. Joseph. Both were in the marching band. Both were band majors, different year though.

Last time I've met him in person, I was amazed. First, he's like 190cm (at least?). Instructing a school band. THE St. Joseph school band. The band that is always the best in town.

Last time we've chatted, isn't through msn. It was in facebook. A message sent to the inbox.

been doing VIP now. some project which wasn't suppose to be disclosed to public, or only to a certain extent. gonna earn the first independent salary of my life. yay. but it's not even enough to cover the rental and rental alone. sad.

on the other hand, income for doing VIP (= 6MC) and not special semester (which required additional tuition fee), covering rental (contract ends end of june), jumpstart of FYP etc, all these are pretty good deals.

on a sidenote, that screwdriver 2 costs SGD1.50. that's 22% increased torque per SGD1.00 spent.

HOWEVER.

a smarter choice would be asking ikea to fix the freaking table themselves, which would cost me 6% of the table's price. that is, 6% of SGD39.00 = SGD2.34

that SGD2.34 will save me at least 2hrs. and another SGD1.50. so that makes a difference of SGD0.42 per hour. or SGD0.007 per minute of savings compared to my current situation.

Stayed in hotel and missed a company visit due to some minor headache, minor flu and serious mental fatigue.

Had a pretty funky dream just now. Fantasy RPG dream. It was like in an RPG game, where you get to this location inciting the glorious deed of assassination of an evil ruler king by a humble farmer. Note: They are all giants and look Viking-ish.

Today’s short dream just started when me and my other friends (I don’t know as to who they are; just that they are there to set up a party) are threading through this large staircases. Catching a glimpse of the king walking, we followed him. We then walked a few stairs up and came to a balcony when this other giant run past by and spotted us. Crouching down while trying to conceal himself behind a huge vase, he initiated conversation with us. Taking out his log note, he jotted down something.

And the weird part is, all this déjà vu thingie is weird. Halfway through the meet-up I suddenly “realized” that I had read this whole thing somewhere previously, and that what he wrote inside the log note, I knew it all. I knew about what he is going to write, about our little meet-up before his attempted assassination, about how excited this bunch of small little humans are, and about his pondering of why one of the them cried excessively towards the end of the conversation.

Yeah, I cried.

I cried because I knew that his effort is to no avail, that his assassination of the king would fail, and that his whole village would be annihilated in the end.

This is also probably the 2^nd time that I’ve cried and woke up from a dream. The first time being I dreamt bout my late grandmother.

Come to think bout it, dreams are weird. You are aware of it, yet you cannot do anything about it.

Note to self: Understand more bout this déjà vu concept in the holidays. This is freakishly more interesting than stuff I studied. The first time I encountered this term is in “The Matrix”. One interesting fact that I read is that you are made to believe that this previous experience is actually something that has happened in the past.
